Changing circuit packs on the standby PNC
To partially or completely exchange circuit packs on an ATM network duplication
switch without service interruption, follow this procedure:
1. Type
busyout pnc-standby
and press
Enter
2. Type
busyout board
UUCSS
and press
Enter
3. Replace circuit packs on the standby PNC
4. Type
release board
UUCSS
and press Enter
5. Type
reset pnc interchange
and press Enter
6. Repeat steps 1-5 on the other (active) side
7. Type
save translation
and press
Enter
